Licence

The addon and the uploader are free to download and use, and the code of both is open for anyone to read on GitHub. They stay Reflective Grove LLC’s: copying, changing or passing them on needs written permission. All rights reserved.

The addon

This addon is free to download and use, and its source code is open for anyone to read, as Blizzard Entertainment’s UI Add-On Development Policy requires. No licence to copy, modify, redistribute or create derivative works from it is granted without written permission from Reflective Grove LLC.

The official copies of this addon are the ones Reflective Grove LLC publishes: at https://widsith.app, in its GitHub repository and on that repository’s Releases page, and on CurseForge and Wago. A copy obtained anywhere else, or changed from those, is not Reflective Grove LLC’s. The terms here still bind it, but no support is given for it and no responsibility is accepted for what it does.

Using it with the Widsith website is also governed by the Terms of Service and the Privacy page.

This addon is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. In no event shall Reflective Grove LLC be liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from the addon or its use.

The same text ships as LICENSE.txt inside the addon’s folder. The source is at https://github.com/WidsithApp/Widsith.

The uploader

This app is free to download and use on computers you own or control, and its source code is open for anyone to read. No licence to copy, modify, redistribute or create derivative works from it is granted without written permission from Reflective Grove LLC.

The official copies of this app are the installers Reflective Grove LLC publishes at https://widsith.app, signed with Reflective Grove LLC’s certificate; installed copies update themselves only from there. A copy obtained anywhere else, built by anyone else from this source, or changed from those, is not Reflective Grove LLC’s. The terms here still bind it, but no support is given for it and no responsibility is accepted for what it does.

The app reads the recordings the Widsith addon writes and sends them to Widsith for the characters you have chosen to keep. It checks for a newer version of itself and installs one when you ask, or by itself when it has been left alone for a while. Using it is also governed by the Terms of Service and the Privacy page.

This app is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. In no event shall Reflective Grove LLC be liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from the app or its use.

The installer shows the same text the first time it runs, and leaves a copy beside the app. The source is at https://github.com/WidsithApp/WidsithUploader.
